Website service terms.

$100 for your one-page build. $10/month from an approved launch.

The short version

  • $100 USD once for the build; $10 USD/month starts only after you approve launch and the site is live. It renews monthly until canceled.
  • You own the domain registration. One standard domain is included; premium names and outside services cost extra only with your agreement.
  • Cancel by email before the next renewal. Service continues through the period you paid for, then you have 30 days to request a copy of your files.
  • A full setup refund any time before you approve the finished build. Moving to another host does not cancel an active plan.

1. The website and the price

Chris Vibes is the website service provided by Chris Lucas through Bisket LLC in Las Vegas, Nevada. “We” means Bisket LLC; “you” means the customer named on the order.

The $100 USD setup fee pays for Chris to build one page using your text, logo, photos, and business details, adapt your chosen design, and check phone and desktop layouts. We agree the content, scope, and target delivery date before payment. You review the finished page and can request corrections to the agreed work before approval.

The $10 USD monthly plan includes hosting, HTTPS, basic technical upkeep, and one eligible domain. Extra pages, redesigns, content changes performed by Chris, and custom software need a separate quote. Shop and booking examples do not include a working checkout or booking engine. Paid third-party tools and email mailboxes are separate. Any applicable tax or extra charge must be shown before you pay.

2. Payment and launch

Your selected provider, Stripe or PayPal, collects $100 once at checkout. Choosing a design, paying setup, or approving a preview does not start monthly billing. A PayPal setup payment does not save permission for recurring charges; a separate billing authorization would be required at launch.

Before launch, we show you the finished site, chosen domain, and $10/month renewal terms. You must approve publication and the start of monthly billing. The first $10 is charged only after the approved site is publicly reachable. A failed or delayed launch does not start billing; we do not backdate it.

The plan then renews automatically for $10 each calendar month until canceled, using your saved payment method. If the renewal day does not exist in a month, renewal falls on its last day. We confirm the first charge, the next renewal date, and how to cancel in writing. There is no minimum term or cancellation fee. Saving a card at setup is not permission to start billing before launch.

3. Your domain

You are the registered domain holder, using your own accurate contact details and an account you can access. We manage it only with your permission. An existing domain stays yours; you can keep your registrar. Selecting a design does not reserve a name.

Domain allowance: one available, non-premium domain with standard registration and renewal costs up to $20 USD per year, including registrar fees. We confirm the name, registrar, renewal price, and expiry date before setup payment. We buy a new domain only after your separate approval to register it for launch. Premium names, aftermarket purchases, restoration fees, and costs above the allowance require a separate written agreement. There is no cash credit for an unused allowance.

We cover eligible renewals that fall within an active, paid service period. If a price rises above the allowance, we notify you before renewal and agree who pays the difference; we do not add a surprise charge. On cancellation we give you the expiry date and renewal instructions. After service ends, you are responsible for future renewal payments and keeping the domain active.

Canceling hosting does not cancel or surrender your domain. We provide account access or transfer assistance without a Chris Vibes release fee, even if you have a billing dispute. Registrar fees and transfer restrictions can still apply. A transfer may take time or be locked; we do not promise an instant transfer or uninterrupted service during a move.

4. Canceling the monthly plan

To cancel, email the business address below from the address on your order. No phone call or reason is required. We confirm receipt and the exact service end date. A request received before the next renewal stops that renewal; processing delays on our side do not move your cancellation date.

Hosting and editing access continue through the period you already paid for. At its end, we take the managed site offline. For the next 30 calendar days, you can email us for a copy of your site files without renewing. Downloaded files remain usable after that window.

Moving to another host or downloading a copy of your files does not cancel the plan. To stop charges, cancel explicitly. A customer who has never started the monthly plan is not subscribed merely by requesting their files.

5. Refunds

Setup refunds: you can cancel for a full $100 refund at any time before you approve the finished build. After that approval, the setup fee is normally non-refundable because the build work is complete. If we cannot deliver the agreed site or usable files, we refund the setup fee. Approval does not waive your right to have agreed work corrected.

Monthly payments normally are not refunded for an unused part of a month after you cancel; service continues to the paid end date. We refund duplicate, incorrect, or post-cancellation charges in full. If we end service early or cannot provide it for part of a paid period, we refund that unused part based on calendar days. Cancellation does not trigger a domain-cost clawback.

Email a refund request with your order reference. We respond within five business days and submit an agreed refund to the original payment method within ten business days; your bank controls when it appears. Mandatory consumer rights still apply. These terms do not limit refunds or other remedies required by law.

6. Late payments and a paused site

If a renewal payment fails, we notify you and allow seven calendar days to update payment while the site remains online. We show the amount and any retry date before trying again. There are no late fees. If it remains unpaid, we suspend hosting, stop future renewals, and begin the 30-day retrieval window. We do not bill for the unpaid grace period.

Restoring a suspended service requires your agreement to the charge and new billing date. We do not silently restart a canceled subscription. Missing content or delayed feedback before launch can change the delivery date, but does not start monthly billing.

7. Keeping and deleting your data

The free draft editor saves locally in your browser and offers a downloadable draft backup. It does not create an account, upload your draft, or send it to Chris. Clearing browser data can remove that local copy. The hosted-service retention periods below do not apply to browser-only drafts.

Retention: after the paid service ends, or an unpaid service is suspended, we keep your site content, permitted uploaded media, and saved site versions for 30 calendar days. We send the deletion date when service ends and a reminder at least seven days before deletion. You can request a copy of your files during this period without another subscription payment.

After day 30, we delete the working site files and versions. Backup copies expire within 90 calendar days after service ends and are not a recovery service. Ask for earlier deletion if you prefer; we confirm what will be removed and give you a chance to get a copy first. Keep your own copy. A copy requested within the window will be delivered before its source files are deleted.

We retain invoices, payment references, consent records, and necessary dispute records separately for seven years after service ends. A legal obligation or active dispute may require longer, limited retention. Those records are not a backup of your website. Payment details are handled by your chosen provider, Stripe or PayPal. Provider retention follows each provider’s policies.

8. Taking your website elsewhere

You keep ownership of content you supply and must have permission to use it. After payment for the completed build, you can keep, edit, and host the delivered static website elsewhere without an ongoing Chris Vibes fee. Our reusable designs and tools remain ours; you receive continuing permission to use the delivered design for your website. Third-party media, fonts, and code keep their own licenses.

Your copy is a ZIP of the latest published site with HTML, CSS, browser JavaScript, your content, permitted media and fonts, and basic hosting instructions. It is included during active service and the 30-day retrieval period. Request it by email; we send it within five business days after we verify ownership.

The ZIP does not include the Chris Vibes editor, billing system, private credentials, or hosted backend services. Forms, shops, and booking integrations may need a new provider, account, subscription, or configuration. We identify dependencies and any non-transferable assets in the handover. Receiving your files does not move DNS, transfer a domain, publish to another host, or cancel billing. Migration work is quoted separately.

9. Questions and service requests

Contact Chris at lucas [at] chris-vibes [dot] com. You can copy this business address into webmail. Include your site address or order reference for cancellation, refunds, or a copy of your files; never email card details or passwords.

We may verify account ownership before releasing files or changing a domain. That check does not delay the effective date of a timely cancellation. We aim to respond within two business days; the refund and file-copy deadlines above apply to those requests. This plan does not include round-the-clock support or a guarantee of traffic, sales, or uninterrupted service.

10. Changes to the service

We give at least 30 days’ written notice before changing the recurring price or materially reducing the plan. No change is backdated or applied during an already-paid period. You can cancel before it takes effect. Where a change needs fresh consent, we obtain it before charging.

If we close the service, we give at least 30 days’ notice where possible, provide your site files and domain handover, and refund any unused prepaid service. We can restrict harmful or unlawful content when necessary, explain the reason where allowed, and preserve lawful access to your files where possible.

Version 2026-09-09-v1, in effect 2026-09-09. Paying the setup fee does not start monthly billing. Return to your order.
