How to play
Swap two sweets that sit next to each other to line up three or more of the same
kind. Drag one across, or tap one and then tap its neighbour — both work.
What a longer line earns you
Three clears the three.
Four in a line cuts a striped sweet. It fires across the line you made —
a sideways four clears a column, an upright four clears a row. That way it opens a
fresh line instead of sweeping up where you have just been.
An L or a T makes a wrapped sweet. It blows a three-by-three hole, waits for
the tray to fill, then blows it again.
Five in a line makes a humbug. Swap it with any sweet to clear every one of
that flavour on the tray.
Putting two together
Striped + striped — clears a full row and a full column.
Striped + wrapped — three rows and three columns at once.
Wrapped + wrapped — a five-by-five crater.
Humbug + striped — every sweet of that flavour turns striped, then fires.
Humbug + wrapped — every sweet of that flavour turns wrapped, then fires.
Humbug + humbug — the whole tray.
What each level asks for
A target — reach the score before the moves run out.
An order — clear a set number of a flavour. It is listed under the counter.
Covered squares — some trays have waxed paper on them. Match on a square to
take a layer off; the paler ones need clearing twice. Clear them all and the level
is done, whatever the score says.
House rules
The score never fails you. Finish what the level asked for and you have
passed. Score only decides how many stars you get.
Every board is dealt with at least four legal moves already on it, and reshuffles
in front of you — and tells you — if it ever runs out. No level is unwinnable.
A swap that does not match costs you nothing.
Chains score more as they go — the deeper a cascade runs, the bigger the multiplier.
Moves you did not need turn into striped sweets and all go off at once.
Nothing on the tray moves unless you ask. Press the bulb if you want a move pointed out.
Beaten the same level five times running? The shop will offer to let you past it.
There are no lives, no timers, no adverts and nothing to buy. Lose as often as you like.
Progress is kept in this browser only. Nothing is sent anywhere.
If the sweets are hard to tell apart
Every flavour has its own shape as well as its own colour, so the tray reads without
relying on colour at all. The larger sweets button on the play screen gives you
bigger targets.
